Facilities Booking Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines before proceeding with booking.

1) GUIDELINES

  • All facilities at Poh Ming Tse Temple (PMT) are to be used for Dharma-related activities only, e.g. Dharma talks, courses, workshops and retreats.

  • Stay-in retreats / camps are not allowed at PMT.

  • Please maintain respect for the Triple Gem throughout the stay in the temple.

  • Please dress appropriately in the temple premises. Singlets, shorts, or revealing attire are not permitted.

  • Please maintain the cleanliness of the venue. Visitors are requested not to leave any rubbish behind after using the premises.

  • Please conserve all resources, e.g. water, electricity, paper etc.

  • No smoking is allowed within the temple compound.

  • As PMT is located in a residential area, no fire or smoke puja, or burning of offering items are allowed.

  • No drinking and offering of alcoholic beverages are allowed.

  • Only vegetarian meals are allowed on the temple premises.

  • Only water is allowed on Level 2 and 3 (i.e. no other drinks). Please eat and drink at designated dining areas.

  • Cooking of meals is not allowed. Event organisers are requested to arrange their own catering of vegetarian meals (including cutlery).

2) APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • Applicants must be from a registered society or organization in Singapore. Please submit the booking application form by email or fax at least one month in advance of the event.

  • Approval is subject to the availability of the facility and the discretion of PMT's management.

3) LOGISTICS AND SUPPORT

  • Please arrange for your own setting-up and clearing of the venue before and after the event.

  • In the event of any damage caused to any part of the venue and the equipment used, event organisers would be liable to offer adequate compensation.

  • Please return all borrowed items to their original location.
